Until 1994, his main technique of work was the oil on the glass, and since 1993, when he moved to the house that he himself designed and built in the Zagreb residential quarter called Maksimir (the quarter is named after a lovely forest which surrounds it), he started painting Maksimir scenic serial in pastel. In 1995, thanks to excellent surgeons and the God Almighty, he recovered from a serious disease and starts painting a new cycle that he named "Sea- Grains" and "Sea-Sea", in oil on the canvass and pastels. In 1998, he painted the national park Krka and Skradin, and in 1999 he did a series of paintings of the lovely Slovenian valley of the Bohinj River. In 2000, he took part in the traditional arts colony in Krašić, which resulted in a new serial of pictures of the Krašić area and a new individual exhibition. Between 2000 and 2004 in the charming fishermen village Njivice on the Island of Krk, he built two pension houses with the intention to set up painter's workshops in them.
